Kid Zone offers a place for underage rallygoers to play
Off of Lazelle in Woodle City Park, there are bright, inflatable kid tents, games, clowns and candy. Kids are running around earning prize points with face paint and checking out inflatable swords. But despite the swarm of kids, this oasis feels peaceful and ordered in comparison to the Sturgis motorcycle rally a block away.
Teams of volunteers from three area First Assembly of God churches volunteer their time and toys to put up a free Kids Zone at the park each year during the rally.
