Day One and Two
We left Lake Wales a little behind schedule but thanks to Executive Tours and Pastor Skip we made great time. Thanks to Jim, Janie, Jeannie, Julius, Phil, Pastor RJ and Lorie and Pastor Walter for praying and seeing us off...
We picked up Pastor Skip at I-4 and Hwy 27 and we were off. We ate lunch on the bus with homemade Tuna Salad, Egg Salad and Chicken Salad prepared by MaryBeth and Mrs Regina. We drove all through the night in rain and arrived in Aledo, Il and 7am. We stopped at the local Bowling Alley (Doug's Restaurant) and had breakfast. We toured the local Vets office and then went to the Wick's home. The ladies went to Wal-Mart and Pastor Skip and Pastor Shawn passed out and slept till 3:00pm. Who fed us lunch and a great cookout for dinner. We are off to bed and plan to be on the road at 7am heading for Sturgis. If all goes well we should be in Sturgis around 9pm. Be blessed.
