God has given you the status of an “Overcomer”!
- We have heard this time and time again, but why do I still feel defeated? I know that the Lord has made us overcomers, but I walk around feeling overwhelmed and overcome.

Read Isaiah 61:1-2
Proclaim freedom for the captives
Here is a revelation: no longer can you blame the devil or other people for your feelings or actions. We are individually responsible for our emotions and actions.
We can’t say, he/she made me feel this way, or he/she made me feel this way.
When someone says something mean or an event occurs that causes us to have bad feelings, we have an opportunity to rise above those situations and handle things the way that the Lord would have us handle them.
Excerise: in the morning – wake up and say out loud today, I will have a good attitude, be pleasant, be joyful, etc. Say it out loud to yourself and the Lord.
Realize that if a situation isn’t life-threatening, then it isn’t worth getting sick over, since our bodies are affected by stress. When our bodies are wore down from all the chemicals that are released from stress, then it's hard to feel victorious even though the Lord has given us a victorious status.
Take off the "negative glasses" and put on your positive ones. A lot of times, our perception to people and situations have a lot to do with how we handle things.
Remember, we reap what we sow.
Galatians 6:7 – Do not be deceived, God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
It is all about attitude – whether it’s positive or negative.
